In the mountains of northern Guangdong at the end of 2025, the roar of engines and flying gravel awakened the landscape. The Huajiaban Car Rally (Shaoguan Station) unfolded over three days of intense competition on this legendary natural gravel track.
The event featured nine special stages (SS1 to SS9), including a 1.75-kilometer sprint stage, a 20-kilometer gravel run from Dabao Mountain to Licun, and a 10-kilometer gravel route from Laozouwu Village to the foot of Dashan Village. This demanding design tested both the drivers' explosive power and their endurance and rhythm control.
Four Cars, One Fighting Spirit
Two powerhouse teams under Pegasus Sports—Team Pegasus Racing and Pegasus Racing Team—launched a dual-front campaign with a formidable four-car lineup. Over approximately 102.75 kilometers of winding forest roads, they engaged in a thrilling dialogue of speed, endurance, and courage with top competitors from across the nation.
Race day delivered a rollercoaster of drama and excitement for the Pegasus camp. Team Pegasus' ace driver, Lin Dewei, piloting a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 car, showcased dominant speed in the later stages after an unexpected setback on the first day. He consistently clocked the fastest times, proving the top-tier prowess of both driver and machine.
On the other front, Fu Junfei, driving a Hyundai i20 N Rally2 car, adopted a steady approach, using the race as training to continuously explore the limits of his new vehicle. Pegasus Racing Team's Li Guoyang and Dong Liang also delivered impressive performances. Li Guoyang, competing for the first time in a Hyundai R5 car, secured a spot among the "Top Five Masters," while Dong Liang, returning to rally racing after a long hiatus, demonstrated remarkable adaptability and smooth driving style with the support of a championship navigator. These four distinct styles collectively composed a magnificent chapter for Pegasus Sports on the gravel battlefield.
LDC Liveries: Blooming Amidst the Dust
In this wild and powerful showdown, flowing colors became the most distinctive spectacle on the track, courtesy of Pegasus Racing's strategic partner—LDC Vinyl.
For this event, LDC custom-designed multiple dedicated rally liveries for the four main race cars under the Pegasus banner. These wraps adhered precisely to the vehicles' contours, maintaining exceptional stability and vibrant hues even under high-speed driving and gravel impacts. Each car retained a clear and dazzling identity amidst the dust, becoming an unforgettable focal point in the lenses of photographers and the memories of fans.
