This season's competition has been fully upgraded: all cars are equipped with full‑slick tires, the dedicated Emira CUP race cars, and strictly standardized tuning settings – putting driver skill and race strategy at the heart of the action, delivering fair, professional, and pure track battles.
This round moved to the picturesque Ningbo International Circuit, nestled between mountains and sea. Designed by world‑renowned circuit architect Alan Wilson, this FIA‑certified Grade 2 track measures 4.015 km in length, features 22 corners, runs counter‑clockwise, and follows the natural terrain with a maximum elevation change of 24 meters. The undulating layout presents a comprehensive challenge to both driver ability and car performance – making every moment unpredictable and thrilling.
Stars Gather, Battle at Yongcheng
Qualifying kicked off on Saturday. The No. 44 crew of David Kim / Alex Paquette set a lap time of 1:57.492, securing P7 overall and P2 in the AM class. The No. 78 crew of Feng Qingfeng / Xu Weizhou / Gao Huayang clocked 2:11.309, placing P9 overall and P2 in the MM class.
Race Day Highlights
In the No. 78 car, Feng Qingfeng started strong and steady, handing over to Gao Huayang after the pit stop. A late‑race safety car period allowed Gao to close the gap, and he pushed hard to overtake several cars. In the end, the No. 78 crew of Feng Qingfeng / Xu Weizhou / Gao Huayang finished P7 overall, securing 3rd place in the MM class!
